Description
### Overview
The Entry Control Unit serves as the primary interface between access control panels and doors, delivering both data and Power over Ethernet (PoE) to connected monitors. Its ports facilitate network expansion through Entry extension switches or enable integration with a Net2 system operating on version 4.25 or higher.
### Installation Process
Entry system components seamlessly integrate through Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables. The system is also compatible with existing network infrastructure, streamlining installation processes. PoE technology efficiently transmits power and data over a single cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
### Functionality
Visitors initiate video calls via the bell button on the external panel. Access control for visitors can be managed through the Entry monitor, which boasts an intuitive touchscreen interface. The internal monitor offers the flexibility of private calls through the handset or hands-free operation. When connected to Net2, building access can be granted using a PIN, code, or proximity token.
