**Overview**
The Gate Control Kit (GCK400) and the Elevator Control Kit (ECK400) enhance and extend the capabilities of wireless access control systems by offering solutions for challenging environments where traditional wired systems are impractical.
The GCK400 and ECK400 Kits include the Wireless Reader Interface (WRI400), the Panel Interface Module (PIM400-TD2), a Remote Antenna (ANT-REM I/O), and a Power Supply (593PI-12DC). Additionally, the GCK400 Kit comes with an Antenna Grounding Kit (MGB+MCA5).
The Wireless Reader Interface (WRI400) is designed to be compatible with most widely-used Wiegand or Clock & Data format credential readers available today. It communicates using a 900MHz frequency with the PIM400-TD2, maintaining a connection range of up to 1000 feet with a clear line of sight. The PIM400-TD2 is directly connected to the access control panel, where access decisions are processed and logged.
The GCK400 Kit eliminates the requirement for trenching in gate applications, significantly reducing installation time and costs. It is especially suitable for parking lots, airports, military bases, and garages, as it preserves roadways, parking areas, and landscaping by removing the necessity for underground wiring.
The ECK400 Kit removes the need for traveling cables in elevator applications, streamlining installation processes. This allows for faster implementation of access control in elevators, minimizing downtime and disruptions within facilities.
