The Schlage intelligent controller, powered by Mercury, offers a comprehensive and cost-effective IP addressable access control solution for managing up to 16 wireless AD Series devices. This solution combines the robust capabilities of the AD Series wireless PIM400 with the customizable features of Mercury’s LP1501 intelligent controller, creating a compact access control system that simplifies both installation and implementation costs. The PIM400-1501-LC extends a facility’s access control to remote locations and is managed via an IP network connection, allowing seamless integration with existing network infrastructure without the need for additional wiring, such as RS232 or RS485 cables. Leveraging Schlage’s extensive range of wireless devices, including AD-400 locksets, WPR400 portable readers, and WRI400 reader interfaces, the system supports diverse applications, including traditional openings requiring electric strikes or wall-mounted readers. The PIM400-1501-LC is equipped with pre-wired external RJ-45 and USB connections and offers installation flexibility with Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 12V DC power supply options. Once configured, it operates independently from the host in cases of network loss, maintaining access control for up to 16 wireless devices. The intelligence of the PIM400-1501-LC extends beyond its ability to handle 240,000 cardholders and 50,000 audit events, offering the capability to manage intricate interdependencies among devices.
