The PRO4200 Series is a comprehensive family of access control modules engineered for high-density installations within the security industry. This series is compatible with integrated security management systems, offering advanced features like video integration, sophisticated reporting, customized rules, photo badging, elevator control, touchless access, and mobile credential management. With the capacity to support up to 18 doors per enclosure and 34 doors per intelligent controller, as well as accommodating up to 100,000 cards, the PRO4200 Series is renowned for its compact design and excellent cost-efficiency per door.
The PRO42IC Intelligent Controller is a key component, supporting I/O control for two doors. The PRO42R1 module supports one card access reader, while the PRO42R2 supports two, both interfacing seamlessly with the intelligent controller. In scenarios of communication failure with the intelligent control module, card access readers can be independently configured to maintain access based on predefined security needs, which can be set to secured, locked, or unlocked states.
PRO4200 modules facilitate the latest bi-directional, highly secure encrypted OSDP communication with access control readers while still supporting Wiegand format for legacy and retrofit installations. The PRO42OUT interface offers up to 16 Form C, 30 VDC, 2A relay outputs, contingent on whether the board is rack or tile-mounted, including power failure and panel tamper detection when tile-mounted. Relays are versatile for elevator management, status annunciation, and overall facility control, such as door monitoring.
The PRO42IN interface includes 16 supervised alarm inputs with dedicated capabilities for power failure and panel tamper detection when tile-mounted. An analog-to-digital converter processes and filters input values, allowing configuration of parameters for each input point, such as custom End-Of-Line (EOL) resistance, sensitivity, and timing parameters.
The PRO4200 Series supports various mounting options to suit different installation needs, offering rack-mounted configurations (PRO22ENC1, PRO22ENC2, and PRO22ENC5) for limited space and a tile-mount option (PRO22ENC3). The PRO22ENC1 is a wall-mounted enclosure unit, the PRO22ENC2 is a 19” rack-mounted unit, and the PRO22ENC5 is designed to fit within a customer-specific enclosure.
