The Kantech™ KT-400 is an advanced Ethernet-ready access control solution, designed for managing security at a multi-door level with strong 128-bit AES encryption for secure communication within the EntraPass ecosystem. The KT-400 seamlessly integrates with existing systems utilizing Kantech controllers like KT-100 and KT-300, or it can serve as the cornerstone for a new security system setup. Its embedded Ethernet port facilitates straightforward IP connectivity.
Out of the box, the KT-400 supports 16 onboard inputs and four onboard outputs, expandable to accommodate up to 256 inputs and outputs. Expansion is made easy with modular SPI cables equipped with built-in connectors for quick setup.
Compatible with all EntraPass system editions—including Special, Corporate, and Global—the KT-400 offers robust solutions for comprehensive security management across an entire enterprise, accommodating a diverse range of installation scenarios. With a card database capacity of 100,000 and managing up to 20,000 concurrent events in stand-alone mode, it is ideal for large corporate installations or small regional sites, ensuring uniform security policies and practices.
The controller features LED status indicators for quick diagnostics and system response, minimizing downtime by alerting users to potential issues related to controller performance, power, network activity, and output functionality.
