HID Global’s iCLASS SE® Key Fob is a high-frequency portable credential designed to enhance access control security by encrypting all RF data transmissions between the key fob and reader using a secure algorithm. Enclosed in a rugged plastic casing, it’s suitable for extreme environments and conveniently fits on a key ring or lanyard.
As part of the standards-based iCLASS SE platform, this key fob utilizes HID Global’s Secure Identity Object® (SIO®) data model and Trusted Identity Platform™ (TIP™). Equipped with an SIO integrated into the iCLASS® chip, it ensures heightened security through data signatures and encryption, preventing unauthorized read access.
The iCLASS SE platform encompasses a comprehensive ecosystem of interoperable products that enhance security and data management independent of technology. The contactless iCLASS SE Key Fob is versatile, supporting applications such as physical access control, PC logon, biometric verification, time and attendance, cashless vending, transit, airline ticketing, and customer loyalty programs.
For large-scale implementations, organizations have the option to customize the key fob by incorporating logos and additional elements into the rubber insert on the front.
