Description
### Overview
Proximity access card packs are designed for use with Proximity compact, Easyprox compact, and Switch2 access control systems. Each pack includes cards packaged in convenient wallets, employing an intuitive ‘shadow card’ system for efficient access management.
### Installation Process
During installation, initiate the system by presenting the Enrollment card from the initial card pack. Additional packs are integrated by presenting the original Enrollment card followed by the Enrollment card from the new pack. Further configuration utilizes the additional cards included in the pack.
### Door Open Time Card
This card determines how long the door remains unlocked after access is granted.
### Fail Open Release Card
Intended for use exclusively with PROXIMITY compact and Easyprox compact systems. For the PROXIMITY compact, this card reverses the lock output to facilitate fail open release operation. Presenting it again will switch back to fail locked mode. With the Easyprox compact system, this card unlocks the door, and re-presenting it will lock the door again.
### Silent Operation Card
This card disables the sounder in the reader, applicable for Compact systems only. The sounder can be enabled again by re-presenting the card.
### User Card Operation
User access cards, each accompanied by a corresponding shadow card, are packaged in wallets. Once system installation is complete, all user cards are ready for issuance. To issue a card, simply remove it from the wallet and annotate the user’s name on the shadow card. The user card is then ready for access use. This procedure is repeated for all users. If a card needs to be deactivated, remove its shadow card from the wallet and present it to relevant readers on site, thereby invalidating the user card.
