Description
**Overview** – Proximity keyfob packs are designed for seamless integration with Proximity compact, Easyprox compact, and Switch2 access control systems. These packs contain 50 keyfobs, each housed in a plastic wallet. An efficient ‘shadow card’ system streamlines management and organization.
**Installation Process** – To begin the setup, introduce the first card pack by presenting the Enrolment card included within that pack. For additional packs, present the original Enrolment card followed by the new pack’s Enrolment card. Further system configuration can be achieved using the remaining cards in each pack.
**Door Open Time Configuration**: Adjusts the duration for which the door remains unlocked.
**Fail Open Release Configuration**: Applicable exclusively with PROXIMITY compact and Easyprox compact systems. For PROXIMITY compact systems, present this card to switch the lock function for a fail open release, with a subsequent presentation reverting it to fail locked. In Easyprox compact systems, presenting this card unlocks the door; a second presentation will relock it.
**Silent Operation Configuration**: Deactivates the reader’s sounder for Compact systems, with reactivation occurring upon presenting the card again.
**Operational Details** – User cards are organized in wallets, with each keyfob paired with a corresponding shadow card. After completing the system installation, all user keyfobs are validated and ready for distribution. To issue a keyfob to a user, remove it from the wallet and label the associated shadow card with the user’s name. The user can then utilize their keyfob for access. This procedure is repeated for each user. If a keyfob requires deactivation, simply remove the shadow card from the wallet and present it to any relevant readers on site to invalidate the keyfob.
