Description

**About** – Proximity keyfob packs are designed for integration with Proximity compact systems, Easyprox compact, and Switch2 access control solutions. These keyfobs come in durable plastic wallets, with each pack containing 50 units. The management process is simplified through an intuitive ‘shadow card’ system.

**Installation** – To install the system, begin by enrolling the first card pack using its Enrolment card. For additional packs, present the original Enrolment card followed by the new Enrolment card. Further setup configurations are managed using other cards within the pack.

– **Door Open Time Card:** Establishes how long the door remains unlocked.
– **Fail Open Release Card:** For Proximity compact and Easyprox compact systems. With Proximity compact, presenting this card alters the lock output for fail open releases and reverts it when presented again. In Easyprox compact, it toggles the lock between ‘unlock’ and locked states.
– **Silent Operation Card:** Deactivates the sounder in the reader, which can be re-enabled by presenting the card again (Compact systems only).

**Operation** – User cards are distributed in wallets, with each keyfob linked to a ‘shadow card’. Once system installation is finalized, all user keyfobs become valid for issuance. To issue a keyfob, remove it from the wallet and note the user’s name on the associated shadow card. Users can now access the system with their keyfob. To invalidate a keyfob, simply remove its shadow card from the wallet and present it to any on-site readers, rendering the keyfob inactive.
