Description
**Overview**: Designed for use with Proximity Compact and Switch2 access control systems, the function card pack enhances the systems by enabling advanced features and configurations.
**Installation**: To integrate the Proximity function card pack, it must be enrolled first. This process involves presenting the Enrollment card from the initial card pack, followed by the Enrollment card from the function card pack.
**Functionality**: The cards within the pack are essential for configuring various access control features.
**Zone Cards**: There are three distinct zone cards—green, amber, and red—that serve to manage user access rights based on their token color. Activating any of these cards on a reader disables the corresponding LED color, restricting access for users with tokens of that color. Re-presenting the same zone card re-enables the LED, thereby granting access to users with matching tokens.
**Time Zones**: This feature allows zone activation and deactivation to be managed according to a predetermined schedule.
**Remote Release**: This card resets the system from its time zone settings back to default, permitting the use of exit button contacts for a press-to-exit button, applicable to Compact systems only.
**Restrict All Users**: In a newly installed PROXIMITY system, all enrolled tokens are initially granted access. There may be scenarios where it is preferable to start with all tokens disabled, allowing for individual validation.
**Card Plus PIN**: This feature integrates PROXIMITY and TOUCHLOCK systems to offer card plus code security, specifically for Compact systems.
**Relay Toggle Card**: This card modifies the relay’s function from a momentary action to a toggle (or latched) state. When a valid token is presented, the relay activates and remains in that state until the same or another valid token is presented.
