Description
### Overview
Proximity card solutions are designed for seamless integration with systems like proximity compact, Easyprox compact, and Switch2. These cards are conveniently packaged in wallets, utilizing an efficient ‘shadow card’ management system for straightforward administration.
### Installation Process
For system setup, begin with the Enrolment card from the initial card pack to activate the system. To incorporate additional card packs, simply present the original Enrolment card along with the Enrolment card from the new pack. Further system configurations are conducted using supplementary cards within the pack.
### Features
– **Door Open Time Card**: This card allows you to configure the amount of time a door remains unlocked.
– **Fail Open Release Card**: Specifically designed for proximity compact and Easyprox compact systems. In the proximity compact, this card switches the lock output to support a fail-open release, with a repeat presentation reversing to fail-locked. For Easyprox compact, it toggles the door’s lock status between locked and unlocked.
– **Silent Operation Card**: Available for compact systems only, this card disables the reader’s sounder. Presenting the card again will re-enable the sounder.
### User Card Management
User cards, delivered in wallets, each have an accompanying shadow card. Once the system installation is finalized, all user cards are active and ready for distribution. Assign a user card by extracting it from the wallet and noting the user’s name on its corresponding shadow card. This grants users access privileges with their card. To deactivate an issued card, present its shadow card to the designated readers on site, effectively invalidating the associated card.
