Description
**About** – Proximity card packs are ideal for integration with proximity-based systems like proximity compact, Easyprox compact, and Switch2 access control systems. Each pack includes 50 cards, organized in convenient wallets, utilizing an intuitive ‘shadow card’ method for streamlined management.
**Installation** – During the system setup, the initial card pack is activated by presenting the Enrolment card from the same pack. For additional packs, present the original Enrolment card followed by the Enrolment card from the new pack. Further configurations can be managed using designated cards from the pack.
– **Door Open Time Card**: Configures the duration for which the door remains unlocked.
– **Fail Open Release Card**: Exclusively compatible with proximity compact and Easyprox compact systems. For the proximity compact, this card toggles the lock output to accommodate a fail open release when presented, and it reverts back to fail locked upon subsequent presentation. In the Easyprox compact system, presenting this card unlocks the door, and presenting it again relocks it.
– **Silent Operation Card**: Mutes the reader’s sounder, which can be re-enabled by presenting the card once more (applicable to compact systems only).
**Operation** – User cards are supplied in wallets, accompanied by corresponding shadow cards. Once the system installation is finalized, all user cards are activated and ready for distribution. To issue a card, simply remove it from the wallet and inscribe the user’s name on the associated shadow card. The cardholder can then access secure areas. This issuance process is repeated for all users. Should a card require deactivation, remove the relevant shadow card from the wallet and present it to any applicable readers on site to invalidate the user’s access.
