Description
**Overview** – Proximity card bundles cater to access control solutions such as proximity compact systems, Easyprox compact systems, and Switch2 configurations. Each bundle contains 50 cards and is provided in a wallet format. An efficient “shadow card” mechanism simplifies card management.
**System Setup** – During system installation, introduce the initial card bundle by using the Enrolment card from the package. To integrate additional bundles later, use both the original Enrolment card and the new bundle’s Enrolment card. Additional configurations can be accomplished with the remaining cards in the bundle.
– **Door Timing Card**: Adjusts the duration the door remains unlocked.
– **Fail-Open Release Card**: Exclusively for proximity compact and Easyprox compact systems. In proximity compact systems, this card toggles the lock output for a fail-open configuration, reverting to fail-locked with a subsequent presentation. For Easyprox compact systems, this card toggles the lock to unlock and back to lock.
– **Silent Mode Card**: Mutes the system sounder, reactivating it when the card is presented again (only applicable to compact systems).
**Functionality** – User cards are packaged with matching shadow cards. After system installation, all user cards are activated and ready for distribution. To assign a card, remove it from the wallet and label the corresponding shadow card with the user’s name. The user can now utilize their card for access. This process is repeated for all users. To deactivate a card, simply present the matching shadow card from the wallet to any on-site readers, rendering the user card invalid.
