HID’s iCLASS® 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology is highly versatile, suitable for a wide range of sectors including access control, biometrics, cashless vending, public transportation, airline ticketing, and customer loyalty programs. The technology supports multiple securely separated files, allowing for numerous applications and facilitating future expansion.
The iCLASS Prox Card integrates both 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology and 125 kHz proximity technology within one card. It offers the flexibility of incorporating magnetic stripes, barcodes, and advanced anti-counterfeiting features, including custom artwork or photo identification directly on the card. This versatile card can be deployed for various applications such as access control, network log-on security, automotive vehicle identification, cashless vending, time and attendance tracking, and biometric verification. Transitioning to or integrating an iCLASS platform from proximity technology readers allows for customization of security levels based on user credentials. The iCLASS Prox Card also adheres to strict ISO thickness standards, making it compatible with direct image and thermal transfer printers.
