HID’s iCLASS 13.56 MHz read/write contactless smart card technology offers a versatile solution for a wide range of applications, including access control, biometrics, cashless vending, public transportation, airline ticketing, and customer loyalty programs. The technology supports multiple, securely partitioned files, facilitating numerous applications and allowing for future expansion. The iCLASS Prox Card integrates iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless read/write smart card functionality with Prox 125 kHz proximity technology on a single platform. It also allows for the addition of magnetic stripe, barcode, and anti-counterfeiting features, including custom artwork or photo identification directly on the credential. This card can be employed across diverse applications such as access control, network log-on security, automotive vehicle identification, cashless vending, time and attendance tracking, and biometric verification. As organizations transition to an iCLASS platform from proximity technology readers, they can assign different security levels to the cards based on the credential holder’s needs.
