Built on the innovative Secure Identity Object™ (SIO) technology, these smart cards leverage HID Global’s Trusted Identity Platform™ (TIP) architecture to offer enhanced security, mobility, and versatile applications. The iCLASS SE smart cards are designed with multiple application areas, each secured by 64-bit diversified read/write keys, enabling complex functionalities and future scalability. Their smart card technology enhances secure access control, offering features like mutual authentication, encrypted data transfer, and 64-bit diversified keys for robust read/write operations.
Available in configurations of 2k bit, 16k bit, or 32k bit with options for a magnetic stripe or barcode, the iCLASS smart cards adhere to ISO standards for size and thickness, ensuring compatibility with direct image and thermal transfer printers. Their graphics-quality surface is ideal for Photo ID printing, and they are available in either standard PVC or a composite polyester/PVC construction suited for high wear environments. These smart cards can incorporate visual security and anti-counterfeiting elements such as holograms, ultra-violet fluorescent inks, micro-printing, or custom logos for easy authentication. Operating at 13.56 MHz, the iCLASS SE smart card read/write contactless technology supports a wide range of applications, including physical access control, PC logon, biometric authentication, time and attendance recording, cashless vending, public transportation, airline ticketing, and customer loyalty programs.
