Description
The 4590 Deadlatch Paddle is a user-friendly door hardware solution that serves as an ergonomic replacement for traditional knob or lever handles. Its simple push or pull operation makes it easy to use.
Functionality
Designed as a substitute for knob or lever handles, the paddle allows users to open a latched door with the same ease as an unlatched door by pushing or pulling in the direction it swings. It is compatible with various Adams Rite hardware, including the 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches, MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch, and 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch systems.
Operation Modes
The paddle is available in four configurations to suit different door orientations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right.
Features
Crafted from extruded aluminum for durability.
Escutcheon Design
Constructed from zinc alloy with a black finish, the escutcheons are securely fastened to the door stile with specialized binder posts to withstand torque loads from any direction.
Cam Plug Details
The cam plug is intended for use with the 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches but is not suitable for the MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch or 2190/2290 Interconnected systems. It is secured to the latch body via a cylinder set screw and is reinforced within the escutcheon by hardened steel pins.
Packaging
Each paddle is individually boxed and comes with all necessary mounting hardware. Packages for 4300, 4500, or 4900 Series Deadlatches include a compatible cam plug.
