The 4591 Deadlatch Paddle offers an ergonomic solution in access control, providing a user-friendly alternative to traditional door hardware such as knobs and lever handles. It enables easy operation by simply pushing or pulling.
Functionality
Serving as a substitute for conventional handle designs, this paddle ensures that operating a latched door feels as seamless as opening an unlatched one, allowing a push or pull motion that follows the door’s natural swing. Compatible with Adams Rite 4300, 4500, 4900 Series Deadlatch, MS+1890 Deadlock/Latch, and 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch systems.
Configuration
The product is available in four distinct configurations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right. It can be easily reconfigured in the field to match the desired mode. Note that the dogging feature should not be applied in the pull configuration.
