Deadlatch Paddle
The 4591 Deadlatch Paddle offers an ergonomic solution as an alternative to traditional knob or lever handles. It facilitates door operation with a straightforward push or pull action.
Function
This hardware serves as an alternative to conventional knob or lever handles, enabling effortless operation of a latched door with the same ease as an unlatched one—simply push or pull in the door’s swinging direction. It is compatible with 4300, 4500, or 4900 Series Deadlatches, MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch, and 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch systems.
Operation
The paddle is available in four different configurations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right. It can be reconfigured in the field to accommodate any setting. Please note that the dogging feature is not available when in pull configuration.
