Description
This 2″ Square Emergency Exit Button is designed with a 30-second push button release function for efficient egress in emergency situations. It is mounted on a durable stainless steel single-gang faceplate and incorporates internal double-break wiring for enhanced safety. The button is field-selectable to operate at either 12 or 24VDC, aligning with the voltage requirements of the connected lock system. As a reliable part of any access control system, it can act as a backup solution if the primary exit sensor fails. Both the red and white wires from this emergency button must share the same power supply. Weather-resistant options WCC and WBB are available for all single-gang push buttons, keyswitches, and keypads. Compliant with UL294 standards and in conjunction with the XMS Motion Sensor, this device meets NFPA Life Safety Code 101 standards for controlled egress door systems.
