Description
The PB3 model is a spring-loaded, momentary-action rectangular exit button featuring bi-color illumination and is mounted on a stainless steel single-gang outlet box cover. The PB3A model offers alternate action, allowing push-on and push-off functionality. By adding “N” to the part number (PB3N, PB3AN), the button is mounted on a 1 3/4″ narrow stile plate. The normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) double-pole, double-throw (DPST) contacts engage when the button is pressed and disengage when released. This switch is UL listed with a 3 AMP capacity. Notably, two of the contacts are not pre-wired; this design choice minimizes wiring congestion since all six contacts are seldom required. Installers can utilize these additional contacts by soldering leads as needed.
