Description
The 9927 model is a 3-Foot Surface Mounted Vertical Rod Exit Device featuring a Grooved Case and is designed without the Bottom Rod. It includes a Night Latch Cylinder Assembly with an Optional Pull Trim and offers Request to Exit functionality along with Quiet Electric Latch Retraction. This exit device meets the rigorous standards of ANSI/BHMA A156.3 2014, Grade 1. It is compatible with stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts. The device’s design incorporates a grooved case and is typically non-handed, although it becomes handed when certain options are applied, such as SD (special dogging), SS (signal switch), or WS (tornado/hurricane). Additionally, vertical rod and latch guards are available to safeguard the bottom rod against damage from carts or gurneys moving through doorways.
