Description
The KP50, KP75, and KP75 Screw connector keypad readers are RFID and keypad combination devices designed for seamless contactless authentication or enhanced security through PIN/Prox entry for end-users. Compatible with both Switch2 and Net2 access control systems, these readers come with interchangeable black or white covers/bezel options. Installation should be executed as indicated on the control unit’s wiring diagram.
Important: Avoid mounting proximity readers on metal surfaces or near other proximity readers to maintain optimal read range. Tokens are recognized by placing them within close range of the reader. Upon token detection, the access control unit retrieves the user’s access permissions and determines whether to grant or deny entry.
