The pivCLASS® solutions portfolio offers a comprehensive range of contact, contactless, and biometric pivCLASS® Readers for agencies to comply with assurance level requirements and adhere to NIST SP 800-116 guidelines. These readers integrate seamlessly with the pivCLASS® Authentication Module (PAM) to support all levels of assurance. Additionally, pivCLASS readers ensure full backward compatibility with existing iCLASS® and HID Prox systems, facilitating a smooth transition from legacy cards to PKI-based credentials. Each PAM can connect with up to two pivCLASS readers via four-wire RS-485 connections, often allowing for the reuse of existing infrastructure wiring.
