Honeywell’s OmniClass series offers a sophisticated range of 13.56 MHz contactless secure smart card readers, renowned for their exceptional reliability, consistent read range, and ease of installation. Available in various sizes, each OmniClass reader integrates advanced smart card technology, enabling support for biometric profiles and multiple applications on a single card. These readers are designed to retrofit any Wiegand output reader, including standard HID or proximity models. Ideally suited for access control and logical access, this smart card technology is also perfect for storing biometric templates, managing parking systems, securing IDs with tamper-proof digital photos, ePurse applications, and numerous other scenarios requiring dependable and secure read/write abilities. The OmniClass 2.0 readers are compatible with international 13.56 MHz smart card technology standards, such as OmniClass, OmniClass 2.0, iCLASS, iCLASS SR/SE, iCLASS Seos, along with MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire EV1. Additionally, there is optional support for 125 kHz Prox technology, including HID Prox, EM4102, and AWID.
