A robust, budget-friendly, pad mount gooseneck pedestal specifically designed for the installation of surface mount entry panels at car height on a 6″ curb. This solution is ideal for use in automatic gate entry and exit, parking lot, and perimeter access control systems. It features a face plate with a surface mount entry panel hole pattern, a heavy-duty base plate, and a sliding cover plate to hide the mounting bolts securing the base. Constructed with heavy-duty .120″ wall tubing, this gooseneck pedestal is engineered to withstand vandalism and harsh environmental conditions. The pedestal’s design incorporates a tightly bent 6″ center radius formed with a state-of-the-art mandrel bending die, ensuring a uniform curve without collapsing the neck’s underside. The manufacturing process includes washing with phosphoric acid, rinsing, and drying to remove contaminants, grease, and rust. It is finished with a powder-coated, outdoor-rated TGIC polyester finish with UV protection to ensure durability and longevity in any weather condition.
