This access control pedestal is designed with a face plate featuring universal hole patterns, a robust base plate, and a sliding cover plate to conceal the mounting bolts securing the base. Its versatile design can be positioned on or off a concrete curb or island. The pad-mount base offers a simpler replacement process for damaged units compared to traditional cement-mounted pedestals.
Engineered for durability, the pedestal is powder-coated with a UV protectant to ensure longevity in all weather conditions, and built to withstand sustained Category 5 hurricane-force winds. The design includes a precise 6-inch bend radius and a .120-inch thick steel wall tube, utilizing 62% more steel than other models on the market.
Two different styles of mounting bolt kits are available for purchase separately, allowing for secure installation to the ground. Each pedestal is individually foam-wrapped and boxed for safe shipping and includes carriage bolt hardware. Offering customized options for colors, heights, reaches, face plates, and base plates, additional fees and lead times may be applicable.
