It features a universal face plate with versatile hole patterns, a durable base plate, and a sliding cover plate to conceal mounting bolts, ensuring a clean installation. Constructed from .155″ wall tube, this pedestal offers double the aluminum thickness compared to competitors using .074″ wall tube, providing enhanced durability and rust protection. However, given aluminum’s tendency to bend more easily than steel or stainless steel and its higher fabrication costs, stainless steel is recommended for its superior weather resistance, strength, and cost-effectiveness.
The pedestal’s neck is expertly cut and welded to present an architectural design while allowing simple routing of wires from the ground through to the access control device, facilitating a straightforward installation process.
For longevity, the pedestal undergoes a meticulous bead-blasting to remove contaminants and then receives a powder coating with an outdoor-rated TGIC polyester finish enriched with UV protection, ensuring resilience in any climate.
