With a 42″ mounting height, it is perfectly suited for automated gate access, parking lot management, and perimeter security, accommodating both vehicular and pedestrian use.
This pedestal features a face plate with universal hole patterns, a reinforced base plate, and a sliding cover plate to conceal the mounting bolts that secure the base. It can be positioned on or off a concrete curb or island. The pad-mount base design simplifies the replacement of damaged units compared to cement-mounted alternatives.
The pedestal is powder-coated with a UV-protective finish for durability in all weather conditions and is engineered to withstand sustained winds of a Category 5 hurricane. It boasts a tight, uniform 6″ bend radius and a .120″-thick steel wall tube, utilizing 62% more steel than similar products in the market.
Two types of mounting bolt kits are available (sold separately) to securely attach the pedestal to the ground.
Each pedestal is carefully foam-wrapped and individually boxed to ensure safe transport and comes with carriage bolt hardware. Custom options for colors, heights, reaches, face plates, and base plates are available, though additional costs and lead times may apply.
