Commonly deployed for automatic gate access, parking lot management, and perimeter security, this pedestal offers exceptional durability against both vandalism and extreme weather.
Crafted from a combination of 2″ x 4″ rectangular and 2″ square tubes, both with .120″ wall thickness, this pedestal provides 62% more steel than competing options with .074″ walls. It has successfully passed rigorous wind testing, proving its capability to withstand sustained Category 5 hurricane winds up to 157 mph. Our design features a 12″ neck reach and incorporates a 4″ x 4″ face plate with universal hole patterns, accompanied by a heavy-duty 8″ x 8″ base plate. A sliding cover plate conceals mounting bolts for a seamless appearance.
The pedestal’s gooseneck is expertly bent with a precise 6″ center radius using advanced mandrel bending technology, ensuring a smooth, uniform curve. This design is favored by professional installers over competing models with longer necks and loose bending tolerances. Each unit undergoes a bead-blast process to remove imperfections before receiving a powder-coated finish. The outdoor-rated TGIC polyester coating with UV protectant ensures longevity in diverse weather conditions.
