This pedestal features a cutout specifically designed to accommodate a 2NIP Force and Safety flush mount, and requires a 2N backbox (part number 9151002). Constructed from brushed stainless steel, it boasts mirror-polished rounded corners and surfaces finished with a 180 grit #4 polish for a refined appearance. The pedestal includes a convenient access panel on the rear side. Unlike competitor bollards that employ a lightweight two-piece anchor design prone to wobbling after installation, this robust stainless steel tower ensures durability and stability due to its one-piece construction, with the post and base welded together. Additionally, it has a sturdy .25″ thick base plate that is securely fastened to the floor. Refer to the included “Installation Instructions” for guidance. This stanchion has been rigorously tested and withstands extreme conditions, surviving sustained Category 5 hurricane winds of 157 mph.
