Description
The Flex Mount Bracket System delivers an innovative solution for installing gate locks, specifically engineered for the 1200 lb. holding force M62FG-SASM Gate Magnalock® and the 2000 lb. holding force GL1 Gate Lock. This system utilizes pre-formed post channels and plates in various lengths, allowing for the rapid assembly of a professional-grade, high-security gate lock platform without the need for specialized tools.
The system includes Post Shim Brackets, which adjust both small and large Post Brackets to fit pole/post dimensions smaller than 2″ or 3″ in 1/8″ increments—1-7/8″, 1-3/4″, 1-5/8″, 2-7/8″, 2-3/4″, 2-5/8″, and so on. For installations requiring more than two shims on a single post, it’s advised to weld the bracket to the pole/post for optimal stability. Each Flex Mount Kit is complete with all essential mounting hardware, including four Post Shims.
The FMK-SW component is compatible with either the M62FG or GL1 lock models, accommodating post separations ranging from 1″ to 2-3/4″.
