The **Camden Door Controls EMF-2** is an advanced microprocessor-controlled relay tailored for efficiently managing a variety of specialized door access control scenarios. This innovative solution features configurable dip switches, allowing for the selection of functions such as:

Leveraging expandable technology and reprogrammable integrated circuits, this state-of-the-art design is built for future-proofing. All wiring connections and adjustments are accessible on the exterior of its durable plastic casing, with removable terminals simplifying the installation process. Precision settings can be easily customized using potentiometers to suit specific needs.
The system includes a power LED, a status LED, and five relay LEDs for facilitating setup and troubleshooting. The relay comes in a robust plastic enclosure by default, with an optional stylish metal cabinet featuring illuminated control switches.
**APPLICATION 1 – ABM VESTIBULE INTERFACE RELAY**
This application integrates an automatic door operator with a card reader system, commonly used in financial institutions. In “Night Mode,” the electric strike is activated (door locked), and the exterior switch is bypassed. Upon card validation, the strike unlocks, reinstating the exterior switch for a set duration to allow automatic door access. The interior switch remains operational at all times, with user-adjustable hold times for both the strike and operator. A new feature, the “Lock-Down” switch input, permits user override of the card reader input, energizing a relay contact. In “Day Mode,” the electric strike disengages, permitting either switch to open the door, with the card reader electronically bypassed.
**APPLICATION 2 – SINGLE DOOR UNSECURED RESTROOM INTERFACE**
This restroom door control interface is engineered for secure management of automatic door operators and locks in shared-use restrooms, suitable for facilities like nursing homes and hospitals. Users can open the restroom door by activating the exterior wall switch. Inside, pressing the “Push to Lock” button energizes the strike and removes the exterior switch from the circuit for privacy. Exiting the restroom is as simple as pressing the interior wall switch, which unlocks and opens the door while resetting the system. Manual door operation automatically resets the system via a magnetic switch.
