Description
The D125B module offers two distinct NFPA Class B powered loops, designed for comprehensive loop supervision against opens, shorts, or ground faults, making it a crucial component in the fire and security system industry. Each loop can be powered with 12 VDC or 24 VDC to interface with compatible two-wire detectors or various two- or four-wire devices, such as retarded waterflow switches, manual call points, heat detectors, or glass break detectors. This module is ideal for integrating fire or security devices in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings, including environments like educational institutions, office buildings, and healthcare facilities. For effective loop supervision, the D125B must be grounded and connected to the control panel’s common ground. It features a dedicated supervisory output terminal for each loop, with clearly labeled terminal designations on the circuit board. To supervise the loops, an end-of-line (EOL) resistor should be installed beyond the last detector in each loop. When integrating a D125B into a new system or expanding an existing one, use the 1.8 kΩ resistor (P/N: F01U009011) provided with the module.
