The APC NetShelter Rack PDU Advanced delivers dependable power distribution for IT equipment in server and networking racks. Featuring switched outlets, it allows remote control for powering outlets on or off. Outlet and PDU-level power metering offer power visibility and alert on potential overloads. Its 4-in-1 combination outlets support C13, C19, C15, and C21 configurations, providing unmatched deployment flexibility. With a compact 2.2-inch width form factor, the unit offers maximum outlet density with 48 outlets. For simplified deployment, outlets are color-coded or labeled by breaker and input phase on three-phase models. The alternating phase design organizes the three phases into small outlet groups, enhancing power cord management and load balancing. Power Sharing via dual Ethernet ports lets PDUs cascade, ensuring continuous operation of the Network Management Card during power losses, with no interruptions in network communication, sensor functionality, or alarm triggers. The Live Swap Network Management Card can be replaced without shutting down the PDU or devices, minimizing downtime. Rated to operate up to 60°C (140°F) at full load ensures reliability in high-density environments. Gigabit Ethernet improves network connectivity for data center assets, alongside a second (10/100) Ethernet port for cascading, connecting to secondary networks, or providing redundancy. Achieving 1% metering accuracy, this PDU supports billing based on power usage and enhances capacity planning and threshold alarm monitoring. Two environmental sensor ports enable connections for optional sensors (sold separately). For global data center deployments, the unit holds UL and CE ratings, simplifying and standardizing international rollouts.
