Switched Rack PDUs provide advanced, customizable power control and active monitoring tailored for data center and edge computing environments. The remote outlet-level control feature facilitates on/off power cycling, enabling remote equipment reboots and preventing unauthorized usage to minimize downtime. With outlet power sequencing and grouping, users can define the order of device power activation or shutdown to prevent circuit overload from inrush current, or enable load shedding to save energy. Power metering allows real-time remote monitoring of connected loads, with alarms for potential overload alerts. Users can securely access, configure, and manage Switched Rack PDUs via Web or SNMP interfaces, ensuring compatibility with EcoStruxure IT. The latest 9000 series Switched Rack PDUs boast features such as Gigabit Ethernet, 1% metering accuracy, 60°C operating temperature on select models, new C13/C15 and C19/C21 hybrid outlets, capacity to share a single network port across 32 PDUs, and heightened cybersecurity.
