Switched Rack PDUs provide sophisticated, customizable power control and active monitoring for data center and edge computing environments. Remote outlet-level control enables on/off power cycling to reboot equipment remotely and prevent unauthorized use of individual outlets, minimizing downtime. Outlet power sequencing and grouping allow users to define the power-up or power-down sequence to prevent circuit overload due to inrush current or implement load shedding to conserve energy. Power metering delivers real-time remote monitoring of connected loads, with alarms to alert users of potential overloads. Users can securely access, configure, and control Switched Rack PDUs via Web or SNMP, and these PDUs are fully compatible with EcoStruxure IT. The new 9000 series Switched Rack PDUs feature Gigabit Ethernet, 1% metering accuracy, an operating temperature of up to 60°C (on select models), new C13/C15 and C19/C21 hybrid outlets, the capability to share a single network port across 32 PDUs, and enhanced cybersecurity.
