The PVR 1-Outlet Surge Suppressor is designed to shield video, cable, and modem devices from power surges and spikes resulting from lightning or electrostatic discharge (ESD). This surge protector is compatible with a range of equipment, including cable television (CATV), digital satellite systems (DSS), televisions, video cassette recorders (VCR), cable modems, and TV antennas. Additionally, it accommodates many DSS units with operating voltages under 26 volts DC. The PVR is certified by Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL) as a secondary protection device.
