Description
The AL1024ULACMR is a power conversion module that transforms a 115VAC 60Hz input into eight independently controlled 24VDC outputs, supporting both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure configurations with a total continuous supply current of 10 amps. Each output can be controlled through an open collector sink or a normally open (NO) dry contact input from various access control system components such as card readers, keypads, push buttons, and passive infrared (PIR) sensors. This module efficiently distributes power to a range of access control hardware, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. It is engineered to be powered either by a single common power source, which supplies power for both board operation and locking mechanisms, or by two separate power sources—one for the board and another for lock or accessory power. The unit features a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) Interface that supports emergency egress and alarm monitoring and can trigger additional auxiliary devices. Additionally, it offers a fire alarm disconnect function that is individually selectable for any or all of the eight outputs, enhancing safety and flexibility in emergency situations.
