The AL1024ULXPD8R is an advanced multi-output power supply/charger designed for critical system applications. This unit efficiently transforms a 115VAC, 60Hz input into eight distinct 24VDC non-power limited outputs. It has an input rating of 115VAC, 60Hz, drawing 4.2A, and is safeguarded by an input fuse rated at 3.5A/250V. The power supply offers a robust 10A of continuous current for access control systems and 8A for fire alarm systems. The device features eight fuse-protected outputs, each output fuse rated at 3.5A/250VAC. The outputs are filtered and electronically regulated to ensure reliability, with built-in protection against short circuits and thermal overload.
This power solution includes a built-in charger suitable for sealed lead-acid or gel-type batteries, providing automatic switchover to backup battery power in case of AC failure. It features comprehensive supervision with form “C” contacts monitoring AC failure, low battery conditions, and battery presence, along with a selectable notification trigger preset for 30 seconds or 6 hours. Visual indicators include LEDs for both AC input and DC output statuses.
Designed for varying conditions, it operates effectively between 0 to 49°C (32 to 120°F) and can be stored in environments ranging from -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F) with relative humidity levels of 85% +/- 5%. The system’s AC input requirement is approximately 483VA and it produces around 123 BTU/Hr.
