Description
The AL1012XB220 power supply/charger is designed to convert a standard 220VAC input (operating within 198VAC to 256VAC) at a frequency of 50/60Hz into a stable 12VDC output. It features a nominal input of 220VAC (range: 198VAC-256VAC) at 1.3A and includes an input fuse rated at 5A/250V. The unit delivers a continuous supply current of 10A with a 12VDC output, protected by a 15A/32V output fuse. This power supply is equipped with a filtered and electronically regulated output, ensuring protection against short circuits and thermal overloads.
For battery backup, the power supply includes an integrated charger compatible with sealed lead acid or gel-type batteries, and it automatically switches to standby battery power during AC failures. Supervision features include AC fail supervision with form “C” contacts, allowing for notification triggers selectable for either 30 seconds (factory default) or 6 hours. It also provides low battery and battery presence supervision via form “C” contacts.
The unit provides visual indicators with LED lights for both AC input and DC output status. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of 0°C to 49°C (32°F to 120°F) and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F). The power supply accommodates relative humidity levels of 85% +/- 5%, with an approximate energy output of 61 BTU/Hr. The system requires an AC input of 286VA for optimal functioning.
