The FLEXPOWER FPO250/250-C8D8E2 is a versatile dual voltage, offline switchmode power supply and battery charger system, specifically engineered for the access control sector within the life safety industry. Housed in a robust painted steel enclosure with a locking mechanism and tamper switch, the system includes built-in space for batteries. It offers two power supplies that can be configured to either 12V or 24V.
Designed to support diverse security equipment, the unit features eight auxiliary outputs suited for connecting access control peripherals such as card readers and request-to-exit (REX) devices, with each output independently selectable to either power supply.
The system includes eight access-controlled trigger inputs that manage eight relay-controlled lock outputs. Each lock output can be tailored for use with either power supply and offers programmable options for fire alarm disconnect, failsafe, failsecure, or dry contact operations.
Advanced fault detection and reporting capabilities are integrated, featuring programmable fault delay settings, as well as datalogging for tracking fault occurrences, battery usage duration, and power supply status.
