Description
**Overview** – The Entry system is a versatile video intercom solution that can operate independently or integrate seamlessly with our Net2 and Paxton10 systems for comprehensive access control and video management. This innovative system combines door entry functionality with essential features of access control technology. Entry is comprised of three auto-detecting components: an external panel, an interior monitor, and a door control unit.
The Entry audio monitor offers a budget-friendly option within this range, supporting the full range of Entry functions where video is not necessary. It can be wall-mounted or placed on a desk and used with a handset for private conversations or in hands-free mode.
**Installation** – Entry components are interconnected using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables and can leverage existing network infrastructure for simplified installation. Utilizing Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, both power and data are transmitted over the same cable, eliminating the need for separate power sources.
The **Entry monitor – desktop stand** provides the convenience of placing the Entry monitor on a desk or table.
**Operation** – Visitors can initiate communication via the bell button on the external panel. Access can be granted through the Entry Audio monitor.
When integrated with Net2, building access can be secured using a PIN, code, and/or proximity token. When connected to Paxton10, access can be achieved through Bluetooth® smart credentials, a PIN, code, and/or proximity token.
