Description
The IXW-HWCBP hand wave call sensor is a robust solution for touchless entry systems, featuring weather resistance and integration with the SBX-2G/A surface mount box. This system includes the PS-POE, which supplies power to the touchless sensor and can be installed within the SBX-2G/A mount. The PS-POE receives power through either a PoE network connection or via the LAN 2 output from an IX Series door station linked to a PoE+ switch. The PS-POE energizes the sensor, which features a form C dry contact output that connects to the trigger input of the IX Series door station. This configuration enables visitors to initiate a call without physically touching the door station’s call button. The touchless sensor is designed to emit a blue light in standby mode and switches to green upon activation, enhancing visibility and user interaction.
