Description
The JP-DA is a surface-mounted plastic color video intercom door station, while the JP-DV is constructed from durable aluminum die-cast material and also serves as a surface-mounted color video intercom. The JP-DVF, on the other hand, features a stainless steel construction and is designed for flush mounting. These video door stations are compatible with the JP Series system and connect to the central master station via an 18AWG 2-conductor solid core cable. Each model is equipped with a built-in camera, microphone, speaker, and call button for seamless communication. For secure installation, tamper-resistant screws are provided for the JP-DV and JP-DVF units. When a visitor presses the call button on any door station, the connected interior master station(s) will alert the user by sounding and automatically activating the video monitor to display the visitor’s image. The user at the master station can then initiate communication with the visitor, who can speak hands-free. The JP series door stations can be installed at a distance of up to 33 feet from the master monitor using the specified 18AWG 2-conductor solid core cable (Aiphone wire #87182). For installations requiring greater distances, additional accessories such as the JPW-BA long-distance adaptor and the 85162 cable are available to extend the range up to 98 feet.
