Ideal for weather-resistant and vandal-resistant applications, this advanced intercom system features a robust 12-gauge stainless steel construction. It includes a red mushroom-type call button (LE-SSR) and a baffle-protected speaker, ensuring durability and secure communication. The stainless steel panel offers hands-free communication capabilities when connected to a master unit. Designed with a moisture and puncture-resistant speaker, it can be seamlessly flush-mounted in a wall using a 1-gang box/ring or surface mounted with the SBX-1G. The system supports 3-conductor, overall shielded wiring—recommendations include Aiphone #82223 (22AWG) or #82183 (18AWG), with a maximum wire distance of 65 feet for 22AWG and 1,600 feet for 18AWG from the door station to the furthest master station.
The LE-SS-1G is a robust 1-gang substation crafted from 12-gauge stainless steel, offering vandal-proof and weather-resistant features. It is engineered for compatibility with intercom systems including LEM, LEF, LAF/LDF-C, AP-M, and MP-S. This versatile unit can be installed flush within a 1-gang enclosure, or surface-mounted using the SBX-SS-1G. Each substation comes equipped with tamper-resistant screws and an installation tool.
