Description
The WPVT-SN Series are surface-mounted, weather-resistant electroacoustic signaling solutions designed for durability in harsh environments. Engineered to resist moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures ranging from -30° to 150°F, these devices are ideal for challenging conditions. Each unit includes a high-intelligibility, environment-resistant compression driver, a semi-recessed enclosure, and versatile mounting accessories, along with a weather-resistant call button for secure call-in signaling. Available in 15-watt or 2-watt versions, these systems offer an optional 25-volt transformer. The 8-ohm compression driver, part of the innovative VT Series, features water-sealed, die-cast zinc construction and an integral exponential sound projector for clear audibility. The call switch is a momentary-action, robust push button with a 3-amp contact rating, housed in a weather-resistant rubber boot for safe, reliable operation in outdoor or high-humidity settings. Compact in design, these assemblies measure 4 1/4″ SQ x 3 1/8″ D (108 x 79mm), accommodating various installation needs with a range of mounting options. Both the enclosure and faceplate are crafted from die-cast materials with a neutral grey epoxy finish. Key features include environment-resistant paging and intercom stations suitable for outdoor installations, a weatherproof call/signal origination switch, loudspeakers that ensure clear and consistent voice and signal transmission, and power handling options with selections of 15 and 2-watt models, complemented by an optional 25-volt transformer for diverse functional and transmission requirements. The patented VT Series environment-resistant compression driver guarantees proven performance reliability in semi-recessed installations.
