The NHX-50M Master Station serves as the central hub for the CommuniCare system, efficiently handling two call priority levels and empowering communication with up to 50 room stations. An optional 30-call expansion module allows scalability to accommodate up to 80 stations. Featuring a durable membrane-style control panel, the unit boasts tactile switches, offering simple usability while being mar and moisture-resistant, ensuring resilience against spills.
Equipped with a handset for voice-activated interaction, the Master Station incorporates a magnetic hookswitch, eliminating moving parts for enhanced durability. Operational controls include a TALK button for “push-to-talk” communication, a TONE OFF button to mute call tones, and an OFF button to end interactions. The station offers easily adjustable voice and tone volume controls on its side, with additional volume adjustments located at the bottom of the unit.
