**Overview**: The Entry system is a versatile video intercom solution that can function independently or integrate seamlessly with leading access control and video management systems, such as Net2 and Paxton10. By combining door entry with essential access control software features, Entry enhances security and convenience. The system is comprised of three components that automatically detect each other during setup: an external panel, an interior monitor, and a door control unit.
The Entry audio monitor offers a budget-friendly alternative within the Entry lineup, providing full support for all Entry functionalities without the need for video. The monitor can be easily mounted on a wall or desk and used via handset for private conversations or in hands-free mode.
**Installation**: Setting up the Entry system is straightforward, with components interconnected through Cat5 or standard RJ45 patch cables. The system can also leverage existing network infrastructure for hassle-free installation. PoE technology delivers both power and data through a single cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
The Entry monitor can be conveniently placed on a desk or table with the use of a desktop stand.
**Operation**: Visitors can initiate calls using the bell button on the external panel, and access can be granted via the Entry audio monitor. When integrated with Net2, building access is available through a PIN, code, and/or proximity token. Connected to Paxton10, access can be achieved using Bluetooth® smart credentials, a PIN, code, and/or proximity token.
