Description
The LEF-10S is a selective calling intercom master station designed for open voice communication, capable of supporting up to 11 stations. This intercom system can be customized to accommodate various configurations, allowing any mix of master and sub-stations within its capacity. Incoming calls from sub-stations or door stations trigger an electronic mono-tone alert and illuminate an LED for about 2 seconds. Communication at the calling master station is initiated with a press-to-talk and release-to-listen approach, while the person at the receiving station can respond hands-free. The master station user can selectively communicate with any other sub or master station within the network. Additionally, an All Call feature enables announcements to be broadcasted to all stations, though this requires supplementary equipment. The system also includes a privacy function that prevents audio from being transmitted back to a master station from any station operating in privacy mode.
